Hi there, I’m Kim Ayela Doak
SPIRITUAL GUIDE FOR SOUND HEALING, COACHING, MEDITATION, AND HOLISTIC BODYWORK.
My path into the healing arts began 25 years ago with what seemed like a simple, serendipitous choice to attend massage school. What I couldn't have known then was that this decision would open the first of many doorways on a profound journey of healing, transformation, and deep embodied listening.
As a single parent navigating life's challenges, I turned to yoga and meditation as tools for finding balance and presence. Eventually, I found myself drawn to shamanic practices and various healing modalities. Each practice revealed another layer of connection between body, mind, spirit, and the natural world.
But it was the transformative experience of losing my son 15 years ago that truly awakened me to my deeper purpose and calling. This profound initiation through grief opened doorways I never knew existed - connecting me to dimensions of healing, power, and purpose I couldn't have accessed any other way. In the depths of that sacred pain, I discovered both my vulnerability and my strength, my brokenness and my wholeness.
As a gift from beyond, my son suggested the name "Rainbow Spirit Medicine" for my healing practice. Little did I know how prophetic and perfect this name would become. In essence, I have become a bridge of light, facilitating connection between worlds, dimensions, cultures, and people on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
Today, out of my Durango, Colorado studio, I offer a trauma-informed, holistic approach to healing that honors all dimensions of the human experience. I consider it a profound privilege to witness and support others as they navigate their own transformative journeys toward wholeness.
