Service Description

Rooted in the therapeutic principles of Yoga Body Psychology, this deep somatic emotional release work is specifically suited for those who have a hard time being present in their body due to trauma, or who tend to live primarily in an over cognitive, mental space. Working through the lens of the chakra system, this session draws on the yogic understanding that disease and imbalance often begin in the energy body before manifesting physically this session supports the gentle release of stored trauma, chronic tension, pain and unresolved emotional patterns. Each energy center holds its own patterns of holding, memory, and expression, so working somatically with this map addresses not just where tension lives in the body, but what it may be connected to underneath. We work with the body's innate wisdom, guided by the chakras, to restore balance, presence, and vitality. EACH SESSION IS FULLY CUSTOMIZED AND MAY INCLUDE: ✦ Conscious movement and holding of postures to unwind held tension, attuned to the chakra system ✦ Breath and body awareness for nervous system regulation ✦ Deep presencing techniques, including Focusing (Eugene Gendlin), active listening, polarity integration, and EDT to support emotional processing ✦ Yoga Nidra for integration and deep rest ✦ Gentle hands-on work to support presencing, grounding and deepening Please wear comfortable clothing for ease of movement.
